Once in a lifetime opportunity, fans screaming, and music blaring equals one concert you'll never forget. Asher Roth, All American Rejects, Fall Out Boy and the one and only Blink-182 rolled around Sept. 21 to Albuquerque's Journal Pavilion.

The concert started with Asher Roth, singer of the hit "I Love College." But it seemed a tad inappropriate to have a rapper open a rock concert — especially since Roth was slow to get things started and his four songs did nothing to pump up the fans. So 30 minutes later, the All-American Rejects (AAR) took the stage playing songs from all three albums such as "Dirty Little Secret," "Swing, Swing" and "Gives You Hell."

Fall Out Boy followed, playing some of their hits such as "Thanks for the Memories," "Dance, Dance," "Saturday," "Grand Theft Autumn," "Don't Stop Believing" and "I Don't Care" for an hour.

Even if you're a not a fan of Fall Out Boy, you would enjoy their concerts because they put on a pretty impressive show using impressive movements and lights.

Then toward the end of their show Tom DeLonge, singer
of Blink 182, came onstage and got the fans ready for the best part of the night.

During the last intermission, you could feel the buzz and excitement, along with the pressure of hundreds of fans trying to get to the front of the lawn section. Then the lights dimmed and screams erupted as Blink-182 took the stage to sing some of my favorites including "Dammit," "What's My Age Again," "I Miss You," "Feeling This," "Small Things," "The Rock Show," "First Date," "Stay Together for the Kids" and many more.

For anyone who didn't make it to the concert, I recommend that if any of the bands come around again get tickets as fast as you can. I gave this show three thumbs up!
