Tony Gwynn provided the heroics in the bottom of the ninth inning Wednesday at Greer Stadium.

No, not that Tony Gwynn. It wasn't the Hall-of-Fame hitter that led Nashville to a 5-4 walk-off win over Albuquerque in Pacific Coast League baseball. It was his 25-year-old son that spanked a 2-2 pitch over the wall in center field in the first at-bat of the inning.

Gwynn Jr., an outfielder and a top prospect in the Milwaukee Brewers' organization, was 2-for-5 with a run scored.

The Isotopes, who squandered a 4-1 lead, were led by Michael Ryan, who was 2-for-3 with a solo homer.

Tagg Bozied also homered for his 26th of the season.

Albuquerque scored a pair of runs in both the fourth and fifth innings.

Nashville came back with three in the sixth to tie the game at 4-4.

Albuquerque reliever Carlos Martinez (1-2) gave up the Gwynn homer and took the loss.

Erasmo Ramirez (3-4) picked up the win. Isotopes starter Bobby Keppel went six innings, giving up eight hits and four earned runs while striking out six.

Albuquerque (64-74) concludes the three-game set with the Sounds (59-79) today at 11 a.m. The series is tied 1-1. Albuquerque right-hander Tim Corcoran (0-0, 4.50 ERA) goes against lefty Lindsay Gulin (7-7, 3.67).
