Jai Miller's sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning lifted the Albuquerque Isotopes to a 4-3 victory over the Nashville Sounds in Pacific Coast League baseball Thursday night at Greer Stadium.

Albuquerque trailed 3-2 heading into the ninth.

The Isotopes caught the Sounds on Brett Hayes' one-out, run-scoring single. After walks to Chase Lambin and Robert Andino, Miller plated Hays with a fly out to center field.

Brandon Villafuerte worked a scoreless ninth to earn his seventh save and make a winner of reliever of Carlos Martinez (2-2). Martinez replaced Tim Corcoran, who littered 12 hits over six innings, including three earned runs. Corcoran struck out seven and walked one.

Hays started the Albuquerque scoring with a solo home run in the third.

The hard-hitting catcher collected his second RBI with a single to right in the seventh. He finished 3-for-4, scoring twice and driving in three runs.

Tim Dillard (6-1) blew his second save. He was responsible for both ninth-inning runs.

Nashville never trailed until the ninth. The Sounds scored a single run in the bottom of the first and added two more in the fourth.

They finished with 13 hits, six more than the Isotopes.

Albuquerque (65-74) begins a four-game series tonight in Round Rock, Texas. It will be the season finale for both teams.
