The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:

• Vehicle registration papers, an insurance card and a safety deposit key were stolen from a 2001 Pontiac parked in the 1400 block of Santa Cruz Drive between Thursday and Tuesday.

• A backpack, a wristwatch and other items were stolen from a 1992 Isuzu parked in the 3000 block of Corte de Princesa between 8 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m. Tuesday.

• Someone at Santa Fe High School reported at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday that a student had a folding pocketknife in his possession.

• A laptop computer, jewelry and two cameras were stolen from an apartment in the 200 block of Ambrosio Street sometime between 9 a.m. Oct. 14 and 9:40 p.m. Tuesday. The thief, who gained entry by tearing a screen from a security door, left behind a black tire iron.

• Someone cut a chain-link fence around a construction site at St. John's College, 1160 Camino Cruz Blanca, between 7 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Tuesday, and stole two front tires from a tractor owned by F&P Trenching of Española.

• A few dollar bills and change were taken from a 2001 Mitsubishi parked in the 1900 block of Paseo de la Conquistador between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 7:05 a.m. Tuesday.

• Patrece Visarraga, 18, 12 Chalon Road, was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault against a household member with a deadly weapon and criminal damage to property after, police said, she attacked her aunt with a metal bar and broke the glass of her front door on Saturday. Visarraga reportedly was upset because both her parents had been arrested for shoplifting earlier that day, and she had been arguing with her aunt via text messages.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:

• The Allsup's at 5166 Morning Drive was robbed at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday. Two men walked inside the store, and one of them grabbed the clerk, put a knife to his side and demanded he open the cash drawer. The other man took the cash. Then the two men, along with a man waiting outside, ran away.

• Jeffrey Martinez, 53, was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault and false imprisonment Wednesday after a 30-year-old woman told deputies he assaulted her Monday. The woman said after she told Martinez she was married and wanted nothing to do with him, he started beating her, said he was going to "get some," and tried to spread her legs and pull off her pants. According to the report, when Martinez's mother told him to stop, he allegedly pulled out a pistol, pointed it at the woman's head and held her for several hours until he fell asleep. The woman said she was afraid to report the incident immediately, but decided to do so after Martinez started calling her at home and threatening her and her husband.

• Six electronic games and five packs of cigarettes were taken from an unlocked dorm room at the Institute of American Indian Arts between 1 and 3:15 p.m. Tuesday.

• A man dressed in all black, including a black mask, walked into a residence in the 200 block of Santa Fe County Road 84 near Jacona through an unlocked door on Tuesday and demanded money from the occupant. When the occupant said she had no money, the man fled on foot to a vehicle across the road and left. The vehicle had a loud muffler.

• A television, laptop computer, camera and tools were stolen from a residence in the 6400 block of Vuelta Ventura. One of the tools was later found in an open field south of the home.

DWI arrests

• Maia Calloway, 31, 105 Pine St., was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after, deputies said, she backed her car off the east frontage road of U.S. 84/285 and into a ditch on Wednesday.

• Justin Archuleta, 21, was arrested on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after, deputies said, he was observed driving without headlights on Wednesday at Airport and Zepol roads.

• Joseph Madrid, 18, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended driver's license and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after he was stopped near the intersection of N.M. 14 and N.M. 599 on Wednesday. A 16-year-old girl with him also was impaired.

• Caprice Howland, 21, 2829 Pueblo Bonito, was arrested on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated after, police said, she was stopped driving east on Airport Road without her headlights on at 8:23 p.m. Tuesday. The officer said Howland appeared dazed, he noticed the odor of marijuana and saw a glass pipe in the car. He said Howland refused to take a test for impairment, but admitted she was taking Xanax.
