The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
  • Various beauty items and cosmetic equipment were stolen late Wednesday or early Thursday from Kalia Beauty Shop, 1415 W. Alameda St. A melon-size rock was thrown through a glass door to gain entry.
  • A 15-year-old girl was battered by an unidentified male after she got off a bus at Governor Miles Road and Richards Avenue on Thursday. The extent of her injuries was not disclosed.
  • A mountain bike was stolen Wednesday or Thursday from a residence in the 200 block of Paseo de la Serna.
  • A catalytic converter was stolen Wednesday from a 2003 Dodge truck parked in the 4200 block of Rodeo Road.
  • A TV set and an Xbox game system were stolen Thursday from a residence in the 1100 block of Galisteo Street.
  • A tenant of a residence in the 400 block of West San Francisco Street is suspected of selling his landlady's $1,700 Taos couch-bed on Craigslist between June 1 and June 29.
  • Three windows were stolen and one damaged late Wednesday or early Thursday at a house-construction site in the 3000 block of Primo Colores Street.
  • Benjamin Moya, no age given, of Santa Fe was arrested Thursday on charges of stealing a 2008 Dodge from Performance of Santa Fe, 2721 Cerrillos Road.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
  • An open-air trailer loaded with 10 rolls of chain-link fencing was stolen late Thursday or early Friday from a location on Calle Jon De Rita.
  • An undisclosed amount of money and several firearms were stolen Friday from a residence on O'Neil Road in Stanley.
  • A black leather sectional sofa valued at $2,900 was stolen between June 20 and Friday from a business on Cedar Road near County Road 44.
  • Eight tires were reported missing Thursday from Garcia Tires, 5984 Airport Road.
  • Hector Espino-Herrera, 45, no address given, was arrested Thursday on charges of possessing cocaine, careless driving and driving while intoxicated near the corner of Cerrillos and Ocate roads.
  • A laptop computer, two weed-cutting tools and a set of car keys were stolen Thursday from a residence on West Alamada Street.
