The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
- Someone tried but failed to break open the front door at Bienvenidos Outreach on Fifth Street sometime between late Sunday and 7:45 a.m. Monday.
- A 17-year-old boy was robbed of his money at gunpoint and struck with a baseball bat by three men wearing ski masks when he went outside his home in the 100 block of Sombrio Drive between midnight Sunday and 12:30 a.m. Monday to investigate a noise.
- Two hunting rifles were stolen from a 2004 Toyota parked at 750 N. St. Francis Drive between 10:45 and 11:40 p.m. Monday.
- A purse was stolen from a 1995 Chevrolet parked in the 1500 block of Pacheco Street about 7:30 p.m. Monday. A window was broken to gain entry.
- A window was broken in a vehicle parked at Frenchy's Field Park about 5 p.m. Monday while the driver went for a run, but no one got inside the car.
- A man was found dead in an apartment at 2491 Sawmill Road at 12:17 p.m. Monday after family members asked for police assistance. Police found no sign of foul play.
- Several items were stolen from an unlocked car parked at 3001 St. Francis Drive between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Monday.
- A red 1977 Ford pickup with New Mexico license plate 062PGJ was stolen between noon Sunday and 6:30 a.m. Monday from 601 W. San Mateo Road.
- Five kitchen cabinets were stolen from a residence under construction at 3019 Primo Colores St. between 4:30 p.m. Friday and 7:45 a.m. Monday. About 30 feet of copper tubing also was damaged. Police found no sign of forced entry.
- About $10 in cash and coins was stolen from a lock box in the cafeteria office of Alameda Middle School, 450 La Madera St., after someone gained entry by using a rock to break a Plexiglas window on the south side of the school.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
- A 16-year-old boy was arrested on charges of burglary, larceny and criminal damage to property after, deputies said, he was caught breaking into homes Tuesday in the Cottonwood Mobile Home Park.
- Someone stole a desktop computer from a computer lab at Santa Fe Community College on Richards Avenue between 10:50 p.m. Monday and 8:47 a.m. Tuesday.
DWI arrests
- Brad Feuerhelm, 52, 4 Ridge Drive, was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked driver's license and not having an interlock-ignition device on his car, as ordered by a judge, after he was stopped for speeding at 3:17 p.m. Monday near the intersection of East Zia Road and Old Pecos Trail. Feuerhelm pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated a year ago.
- Abraham Martinez, 19, of Santa Fe was arrested Tuesday on charges of driving while intoxicated and reckless driving after, deputies said, he was observed speeding west on Airport Road in a 2000 Ford that hit the median. His blood alcohol content was measured at .10.
