The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
  • Officers arrested Brennen Carrillo, 34, address unavailable, on Sunday and charged him with aggravated assault on a household member and criminal damage to property.
  • A man in an orange hooded sweat shirt snatched a Santa Fe woman's purse as she was leaving Walgreen's, 3298 Cerrillos Road, on Sunday.
  • Officers arrested Jerome Roybal, 26, 3069 Primo Colores, on Sunday and charged him with aggravated battery on a household member and false imprisonment.
  • A laptop computer was taken from one car parked at Christ Church Santa Fe, 1213 Don Gaspar Ave., while a purse was stolen from another on Sunday. A fanny pack was stolen from a third car parked at Christian Science Church, 323 Cordova Road.
  • An unknown person stole $1,500 in cash from The French Pastry Shop after entering the business through an unlocked back door.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
  • An unknown person stole $300 in coins Sunday from a residence on Alamo Road.
  • A woman was found dead Sunday at her residence on Camino Juliana. No signs of foul play were reported.
  • Deputies arrested Joe Anaya, 50, of Edgewood on Saturday and charged him with battery on a household member.
  • Jewelry was stolen Saturday from a residence on Old Agua Fría Street.
DWI arrests
  • Deputies arrested Christian Valle, 18, of Santa Fe on Friday and charged him with driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain a traffic lane and no insurance. Valle's breath-alcohol content was .12.
  • Deputies arrested Kim Montoya, 50, of Santa Cruz on Monday and charged her with DWI and reckless driving.
  • Deputies arrested Clyde Lucero, 37, of Santa Fe on Sunday and charged him with DWI, careless driving and no insurance. Lucero hit two other vehicles.
  • Deputies arrested Elsa Padilla, 36, of Rio Rancho on Sunday and charged her with DWI and driving with a revoked license. Her passenger, Zack Vigil, 29, of Santa Fe, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
  • Deputies arrested Carlos Zubia-Montez, 31, of Santa Fe on Saturday and charged with DWI, child abuse and reckless driving. Zubia-Montez had two small children in the car when he was stopped.
  • Deputies arrested Andrew Mata, 22, of Santa Fe on Saturday and charged him with DWI, driving with a revoked license and careless driving.
