Have a party tonight; no one's feeling logical, and we all need a creative way to act out or we'll bluster at the dinner table as the extroverted Leo moon trines Venus and Mars in Aries. Enthusiasm runs hot, minds aren't working clearly, and we'll get in trouble if we say too much, so we might as well dance.

This weekend, the material world needs attention. We might think no one can do it right, so we'll have to do it ourselves — until we try and realize it's tough. Find work that needs a critical but imprecise approach, such as weeding, but make sure to differentiate the sprouts from the weeds.

Mercury has been retrograde for three weeks, slowing brains and compounding misunderstandings or slights just as Venus and Mars in Aries added fuel to fires. We work those problems this weekend as the roots of difficulties surface while Mercury turns direct and Mars enters gentler, more stubborn Taurus.

Next week we make up, catch up on writing, and really get summer started. Let's let our hearts fill up, spill out, and enrich our lives. Keep hugs and art supplies handy as several expansive aspects from Venus stimulate emotional and creative capacity just as a supportive trine between action-oriented Mars and empowering Pluto adds power and guts to work.

These friendly Venus aspects increase the volume on social activity but can also raise romantic expectations. Venus in Aries doesn't like disappointment and can make us retreat. If we're in an unproductive relationship, place, or job, this could be time to find greener pastures, send out résumés, or strike up a new love. But existing relationships might just need TLC to revive.

Friday, May 29:
Hyperbole flies as the Leo moon trines Venus and Mars in Aries. Watch what's said when egos bump in the morning. Emotional expression flows midday, though some overact their parts. Party and sing tonight; we understand with our hearts, not our heads, as the moon opposes Jupiter and Neptune.

Saturday, May 30:
Nothing seems to go as planned, but much can get done if we work with what is and not with what is desired. Misunderstandings or missing parts make people edgy midday as Mercury turns direct but may straighten out by sundown. Tonight is oddly formal; we need rest, nurturing, and honesty.

Sunday, May 31: Bodies creak and responsibilities weigh on us as the Virgo moon conjuncts Saturn. Mars enters Taurus, challenges Saturn, and calms our tempers but gives us endurance. Self-control and a gentle heart are needed.

Monday, June 1: The morning is unsettled and potentially cranky; moods soften at midday if we make fairness a priority as the moon enters egalitarian Libra. Later, as the moon squares Pluto, a sad or moody breeze reminds us of what we've let go or could lose; let's be there for one another. This evening, souls need beauty to be fed.

Tuesday, June 2: Opportunities arise to heal frayed relationships. The morning is lazy; expect practical delays at midday but harmonizing opportunities later. Enter a new dream as Venus forms lovely aspects. Evening is sociable.

Wednesday, June 3: Follow new leads as the friendly Libra moon trines Jupiter and Neptune early. Emotional winds pick up; beloveds get distracted. We're less friendly but more focused later as the moon enters broody Scorpio. Tempers flare tonight as the moon opposes Mars.

Thursday, June 4: Investigations progress. Express an urge to change or purify by weeding the garden or taking care of personal health. Beware of people who shift blame and deny responsibility.
