The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
• An unknown person stole $2,000 worth of jewelry on Oct. 23 from a residence in the 2400 block of Calle de Piñata.
• An Española man reported Sunday that he was the victim of an aggravated battery in the 2000 block of Placita de Vida. The man needed three staples to close a gash on his head and two stitches to close another on his left eye.
• Officers arrested Oscar Flores-Solano, age unavailable, 611 1/2 Velarde St., on Sunday and charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery on a household member and criminal damage to property.
• A woman in the 1000 block of Camino Carlos Rey reported that her boyfriend battered her Sunday. The woman also said she suspects the man stole six ounces of medical marijuana from her valued at $1,800.
• A 32-inch flat-screen television was stolen Sunday from a residence in the 500 block of Alto Street.
• An unspecified amount of money and a "large amount" of merchandise were stolen Saturday or Sunday from the Five and Dime General Store, 58 E. San Francisco St.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
• A handgun and blank checks were stolen Monday from a residence in Pojoaque.
• Deputies arrested Joe Perea, 61, of Tesuque, on Saturday and charged him with battery on a household member.
• Jewelry was stolen Saturday from a residence on Colibri Tierra.
• Deputies arrested Armando Heras, 27, of Las Vegas, N.M., on Saturday and charged him with driving with a revoked license pursuant to a prior DWI. Heras' 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe was seized under the county's DWI seizure ordinance.
DWI arrests
• Deputies arrested Loriann Gurule, 20, of Santa Fe on Sunday and charged her with driving while intoxicated, speeding and failure to maintain her lane. Gurule's breath-alcohol content was .12.
• Deputies arrested Melissa Garcia, 41, of Santa Fe on Friday and charged her with DWI and being involved in a car crash on N.M. 599.
