In his Aug. 9 letter, "End sanctuary status," Sten Andersson objects to Santa Fe's sanctuary policy. His stated reason was that an undocumented alien in San Francisco committed murder. He did not mention how many citizens of the U.S. committed murder during the same period of time. My guess is that undocumented aliens commit a tiny, tiny minority of violent felonies in San Francisco or anywhere else in this country. »Story,
